Winter’s coming strong and fast
We shouldn’t be dismayed
You know it’s going to stay a while
Put on your flannel blanket, go pull up that shade
The snow is coming they predict
I have no fear no sorrow
To see the snowflakes dance again
Will be my gift tomorrow
The weatherman sends out the call
The snow will start tonightÂ
Have your shovels ready all
Oh dear, but there is no fright
For one and all this can be time
To stay inside, stay safe and sound
Enjoy the winter wonderland
As the snow falls to the ground
Mother Nature has her way
Not always our desire
But mostly awesome sights she gives
Abide we must tonight with one more log on the fire.
