Why do we people fight each other

Parent, child, sister, brother

Why is there stress, fatigue and sorrow

Some people dread what comes tomorrow

So many people with great power

Should come down from their Eiffel tower

Future years let’s make them safe

For our children, help them face

A world that’s kind, peaceful and true

It all depends on me and you

I have much faith in humankind

We all just want this peace of mind

A home and food, good health some love

My simple prayer to God above

Please guide us with your Mighty Hand

Hunger, wars, hate, they will be banned.

    The persent is always in transition. A person tries to slough off the past with the hope for a better future but the present tends to tie one to reality unless you relinquish its confining grip on you.

    You have to make positive plans for yourself to not accidentally slip back into old ways of thinking and behaving and also not glide willy nilly into a future that is based on fantasy and hopeful speculation. A modicum of caution is always deemed necessary Thanks for sharing Pat.
